My name is Amy Kennedy, and I am one of the co-Executive Directors for A Christian Ministry in the National Parks. I have known Macy for several years through her participation in an annual event I lead called Women in the Wilderness. Through her interactions and time with us there, we were able to see Macy’s heart in some real and tangible ways. Her influence on the group was transformative as she naturally empowered the participants at an individual level both encouraging them to shine as they are and step towards who they were made to be in their God-given gifts. It was a true joy to see this in such a tangible way! This past year, we asked Macy to join us as an IMPACT trip leader so that she could use these skills and abilities to an even greater extent. We have heard nothing but positive feedback from the groups she has interacted with and intend to partner with her for years to come. Macy is a true gem and we feel lucky to have found her.

I had the pleasure of meeting Macy a couple of years ago when we were both associated with Memphis Rox Climbing+Community in the heart of Soulsville USA. I served on the Rox Board of Directors while I was also leading a faith based non profit. Literally from the moment I met Macy, we realized our mutual commitment to our faith and reliance on spirituality in our respective roles. She and I spent countless times encouraging one another through our individual trials and triumphs! I admire Macy and appreciate her for the way she connects with people (not just myself) from a place of authentic compassion and care. Her connection to others goes deep and I was able to observe how she frequently made others a priority (not just in meeting their needs but also in simply being present with them). Macy's calming and peaceful spirit is priceless especially when others are facing the storms of life. Since she has moved on to other opportunities which allow her to share her gifts with so many, we still remain connected..... I value the level of encouragement and upliftment she gives to me as I go out to serve the community! And now that I have taken on a new and challenging role as an executive director I know I can still call on Macy and experience the beautiful way she helps to "refill my cup"!"

Macy was personable, goal-oriented, and a faithful mentor. She listened to my concerns with care and provided effective feedback in ways I could comprehend. Macy was a great listener and spiritual support while helping me consider available options for my career. I can honestly say while connecting with Macy I not only felt supported, I felt inspired. I was able to plan my future with peace of mind and high expectations for success. I was blessed to cross paths with Macy!

Macy has been an incredible help to our organization (A Christian Ministry in the National Parks) over the past couple of years. She supported me in 2023 on one of our largest retreats, helping to make it a huge success for all the students and took a lot of worry off my shoulders. In 2024 she led the same trip in my place and trained a co-leader at the same time. She is a strong leader that our organization is fully confident in. I can highly recommend working with her.
